WIN10 Cortana setup and configuration proceedures/steps

I have a new system for my father-in-aw and need some doco and/or procedures I can give to him to get Cortana up and running.

I have a WIN10 tablet and I need to setup and configure Cortana. Can anyone suggest a good setup/configure site to get setting up Cortana right the first time???
