Hi

Today, I changed the "size of texts, apps and items on this display" in settings>system>display to 175 % from previous 200%.
After changing it to 175%, I got around 50 app updates. Most updates were related to microsoft apps like MSN, Maps, etc. But some 3rd party apps like VLC , Quiz Up, Windows central also received updates.

My question is, Are these false updates and it is bug in the OS or these updates are expected?

I am using Lumia 830 with windows 10 mobile build 10586.218 i.e. the latest consumer version.

these were reported some time back that changing scale would do this. I expect that the updates allow the apps to take advantage of the new scaling
