Since most recent Win 10 update 10586 218 my PC will no longer sleep

I had problems with sleep operation on my desktop machine before the most recent update to 10586 218. I have checked all settings and also checked that the network card is not preventing sleep. Sleep always seems to cause problems in Windows but this seems to be a new problem. If anyone has found a work around I would much appreciate it. (Note: I also have a new router but I doubt that would affect it, or would it?)

Thank you very much I will take a look at that. I have tried all the "usual" things and it works once or twice and goes back to not working. Oddly enough another thing changed, previously I had it set up not to require a password after coming out of sleep but now it requires it so the update must have had some other effects!

Mine wasn't sleeping and now it is after that update.

Everything got reset by that update, which should not have been the case. I have now got things working again but all the settings were restored to some some sort of default.
