Merging text conversations

Is this possible? I ask because I'd rather not lose 3 years worth of texts from my boyfriend just because the facebook beta decided to link his grandfather with him. They've since been unlinked but I can't find a way to merge and rename the conversation that is now labelled as his grandfather.

I have the same problem. I accidentally linked two contacts and now all messages are under one contact even after I slit the contacts.

Same here. I have cousin with the same name. They are attached to his Facebook contact, that has no phone number. So once unlinked, new texts go to the right "me" but the old ones stay with his Facebook contact. Anyone?
