Windows 10 upgrade from 7--frozen?

[Windows Central Question]

My computer has been frozen for 15 hours on the 44% progress of windows 10 upgrade. Theres nothing in an SD slot. Can I power the computer down and do start it back up to restart the upgrade? If so, how should the computer be powered up?

Yes you can turn it off and reboot it. Windows 10 will probably revert back to 7 and you will have to start over.
