In list My Calendars there is a Birthday Calendar that contains some unwanted birthdays I wish to delete. But pop up error message says they are Read-Only cannot delete. What is solution other than delete them in my Contacts. Thanks all.

Go to outlook.com and delete the birthdays there.

This can depend on what account that calendar is connected to (you probably won't be able to delete birthdays from a linked Facebook account).
