Yea, never use a 'reg cleaner' type of programme. They are rubbish, and you don't need them. Firstly, assuming the programme backed up your registry before it hacked it up (as it very much should have done), you can simply restore it. If it is so poor as to have made no backup, revert to a previous system restore point from before you knackered the registry. If all else fails you will need to restore your system from your last system image. If you are not making backups then your system is obviously not critical and you can simply wipe it and revert to a fresh Windows install.
