Why have all my emails on my Hotmail account been deleted?

All my emails on my Hotmail account have been deleted

this has been since I updated to windows 10 and I cant seem to find any of my many emails from a date before the date of june 12

Are you using the email app or accessing it through a browser? If you're using the app, it's likely that you just need to sync your account.

look at the period for syncing -set a longer period. And make sure syncing is on and your internet is stable
