Well anyway... I just moved myself to the slowest insider ring (I don't know which I am currently on, I basically upgraded 8.1 -> 10 assuming builds would be stable by know). Hopefully that will help.

Same here. L830.

Not only is battery draining at 10-20% per hour, it's also draining my data plan. My phone has sent or downloaded almost a Gig in data in the past week. I didn't have much social time this week, so apart from my commute I have been on Wifi nearly 100% of the time. It's all 'Systems' that's burning through the data plan, not one of my actual apps (who combined have spent less than 200mb since the beginning of the month).

It is also crashing multiple times a day.

*sigh*

My phone is getting old and needs replacement soon. Although I have been a staunch advocate for years of the best mobile operating system in existence (WP8.1), I may be forced to downgrade back to iphone/android.

Did you checked via Battery and Data settings which app is draining data and battery? Microsoft healt, Whatsapp, etc, are the most famous.
Then a bad carrier 3G / 4G coverage area do another damage

Well I've tried to persevere but just changed my Insider setting from Release Preview to Slow Ring. Downloading 14393.0 now, hopefully it's a bit better. I can't stand the thought of going Android or worse, that iThing.

From release to Slow there are a lot of core apps updating too. Remember that, let phone do all things (in wifi better)

Same problem on two 822s, battery won't last a day even with no phone use. Problem started with this build. For some reason "Search" is using 20% even though I never use search.

i think im having this problem, windows default lockscreen seems to be the culprit, just woke up to see my phone on 35% after i left it at 100%, but i usually leave it on a qi base so i just noticed now

The 830 now can barely go 10 hours without draining and the 950 only about 12-13 hours. This is light usage - no GPS, streaming or gaming.

I only mention it here because battery life before this upgrade was fine - lasting about all day.

Any one experiencing this.

i have seen some builds last 1.5days and other only 0.5days in my windows 10 mobile usage. it happens with some builds. i suggest you to sign up for insider program and be on slow ring. the 14393.5 over there is good with battery imo. i use it on my device and i get a day of usage.

Started having magic battery drain with 10586.494 from nowhere - whole battery within half a day. Updated to 14393.5 - battery shows magic tricks now, I believe I can manage two days now and I never had it before. :)

The problem is, on my 822, .494 is the last build I get from any ring. I'm concerned that's the last build for unsupported devices on Win 10 and after all of this I'll have to go back to 8.1 .

na just get interoptools and spoof it

dunno how will they release a .537 cumulative for 10586 build when there's no ring on 10586 anymore, all three rings are on 14393 now

not 100% sure that 10586.494 will be the last build..... 10586.xxx will be the last "threshold" build for un-supported phones.. there still may be future updates (at least that's what I read in prior releases) I hope they are looking at complaints for this build (several battery issues)... fingers crossed
