Email notification issue

Hi everyone,

I noticed that after the recent update, whenever I click on an email notification, it doesn't take me to the right email. It opens a different email that was received earlier. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, did you figure out what the issue is?

are you on insider program by any chance?

for me, it works like this:

open the app, read an email...
press the windows key and do something else
get notification for email
tap notification
takes me back to the previous email I was reading

It's always been that way for me.

Yeah, this happens too...It's like it's got a mind of its own.

and if the notification comes in when you have not opened mail app at all for that session?

Do you mean if there multiple unopened emails?...For me, if I click on the latest notification, it takes me back to the first unopened email. And no I'm not on the insider program.

that's a weird issue - maybe an update could fix that though I'm not sure

I know...I didn't have it before...This started happening after the phone updated itself to .494. But thanks for replying!
