why is window store not working?

i bought recently, a HP ENVY laptop and since the first moment i tried to access the windows store it says that there's a problem at their end(error code 1) and to wait, but this has been going on for over a week, how long do i have to keep waiting or is there something i can do?

are you signed in? And is your laptop updated for apps and OS?

Yes i am signed in and my laptop has the latest updates. i also downloaded the windows troubleshooter and it says it didnt find anything so i dont know what to do.

weird error code, generally the code is in 0x???????? format.

Indeed. Error 1 huh? Must be, like, the first error or something. So, you didn't plug the PC into the mains? That can't be right...
