How can I turn off the annoying sound when a message arrives?

My build number is 14905.1000.

Every time a message arrives my notification action center my phone vibrates first then plays a sound. It's super annoying.

I looked around and does not seem to find a setting to turn off the sound.

I can use my volume setting but it mutes everything as well.

All settings -> System -> Notifications and actions. Then scroll down to where the notifications for the individual apps are shown. Click on app and you can turn on/off the different types of notifications.

goto notifications in settings, goto messaging, and say you don't want sound notifications.

well if you're in the app at the moment the message arrives, there's no way to turn that off, it will vibrate no matter what settings you have, and the sound will play unless you have 0 volume
