ebay app notifications not working since Anniversary update

I've noticed over the past few weeks that I don't receive any ebay notifications (messages, watched items...etc) anymore on my Lumia 650, 950, and also on my Laptop. I assumed that it could be something to do with the Anniversary update, or maybe ebay no longer support push notifications on their Windows app. I doubt it's a problem with my ebay account as no settings have been changed.

Re-installing the app, and hard resetting does not solve the issue. The only thing I haven't tried is going back to Threshold (because I don't have the time to waste).

Has anybody else noticed this?

Don't use the app, but a quick mail to the dev might also be able to help

I had a look on the feedback hub and there a few posts on there about eBay notifications not working since the anniversary update, so it looks like broken compatibility with the old WP8.1 app.
