Help with notifications!

I have Lumia 950 ATT and for the past week the only notifications I get are calls and text message. I need to see new content. If I enter WhatsApp I see every message coming in, but only if I enter the app, same with messenger and even this app too. Can anyone help?

If you have battery saver turned on then only built-in app notifications are allowed in the background. Check to see if you have it enabled. If not then try performing a soft reset.
