Background to this issue is I've purchased a surface, and intend to be able to get on the internet with my phone as a wireless hotspot for when I'm on the move. No problem doing that, straight forward, however, with windows 10, a lot of automatic updates take place, and these can cause a problem if they download while using my phone data because I have limited data per month, and going over is very expensive.
So I've tried to find if there's a way like on a windows phone, where you can set downloads only over wifi (i.e. not use mobile data), is there a setting to make certain wifi SSID's on a windows computer behave in a similar manner?, i.e. not do any automatic updating or downloads? Precursory google searches have come up with nothing.
