Hi All you W10 guru's ! I have a question for you. I have the latest W10 build Home. I have used Speccy to find my digital license. If I were to replace my mother board; is this the Key MS would ask for if I tried to install W10 on a new board. How does this work?
Thanks!

No key needed for digital licenses. It uses your MS Account.
When it finds the valid license in your account, it will activate windows with a generic key (that's the key you'll see if you try to read it, its the same for all digitally licensed PCs).
If you are asked for a key when installing windows, you can skip it. If it doesn't activate automatically later, you can run the troubleshooter from in settings and it will ask you to confirm which license it is.

Excellent! Thank you my friend! So If I don't see the trouble shooter in settings, I'm good and the trouble shooter won't show up. I don't see the trouble shooter.
