Windows Update problem

I have two PCs here and both are getting stuck doing Windows update, one finally gives message 0x800705b4 and the other just sits. Both are running Windows 10 Version 1607 build 14393.447
Is this a general problem or just me?

Well Google says the error code means MS has a problem with your Windows Certificate - NO WORRIES - I've had this problem a few times.
You need to dl the Windows Update Troubleshooter from MS HERE:

Find it in your dl folder and Run As Administrator. It's worked Many times for me and thousands of others. :winktongue:

EDIT>>> Tell ya the truth I just keep it in my dl folder. It doesn't install, it just runs when you call it up.

Hi. 14393.447 is the latest update. If @Shamshi-Adad suggestions don't work, have a look here. This is the anniversary .exe file

Here's a neat trick! Click on this link. If you have the latest W10 update, you will get this message "Thank you for updating to the latest version of W10":smile:

PS Might make a good sticky?? Gives you assurance that you're up to date!

Thanks guys,

A small miracle happened and both PCs updated normally since last night. I guess there was a problem with the Microsoft update servers somewhere or other. The advice was useful and will bear it in mind next time I run into the same lack of responsiveness from the update servers..
