Bad Dysplay info Physical Memory RAM in Windows 10 Creator

Hello,in my PC there are 12GBytes Memory Ram installed but it's displaied only 8GBytes in new Windows Creator .What's problem?Thanks

How many Ram sticks does your Pc have? 2? 3?

I would say either one of your Ram sticks is bad or faulty.

Check if all of your RAM is placed and locked in correctly. While doing this also check if there are any bent pins


Edited: Download CPU-Z and see if it displays correctly in there also check in your BIOS to see if it displays the correct amount.

You may have to restart your Pc a few times for it to refresh.

CPU Z display correct value 12GBytes instead in BIOS display 8184MB ! Why?

That's very odd.

Was it like this before updating?

Is your Ram or Motherboard new?

Try taking out and reinstalling the Ram if you haven't already.

Try to run a memory test in your bios.

Have you restarted your PC a few times to refresh it? Sometimes it doesn't immediately pick it up.



Edited: My CPU was acting up a while back when I installed it. I backed up and reinstalled Windows 10 and the problem randomly fixed. I'm not so sure it'll work in this scenario though.
