Finally read how to be able to watch Amazon Prime.
1. Use Monument browser
2. Go to Amazon, browse to video, pi k your movie/show
3. Go to settings, pick desktop version. (nothing will change much).
4. Long press the back arrow to bring up open windows, and close Monument
5. Reopen Monument and it will ask you to continue navigation, say yes and your video should play.

Thats awesome! Why couldn't MS get that working in Edge??

Probably so you only use the Movies and TV app...? I have not tried to watch a movie via Prime yet, so I never knew this was an issue. Looks like 3rd party browsers are getting more popular too. There is one in particular that supports extensions now. Won't be long before the others start to support that too I bet.

Thanks for the tip Neill!

I'm pretty sure MS does not want to delay the demise of Windows Phone. They would wish everyone who ever used Windows Phone into the corn field if they could to remove traces of their shame. And they particularly like situations where the customer is more likely to blame the 3rd party, in this case Amazon.
