    I was just curiously going through Apple's website to set a reminder for the iPhone launch tomorrow. I scrolled down the page and saw that Apple was giving some love to Microsoft Edge and Windows 10 over Chrome or Android.

    The Apple event can be livestreamed through any of the iOS devices with Safari or Windows devices with Microsoft Edge.

    This isn't Apple opening up their presentation to Edge users in particular. Apple broadcasts their presentations using a technology called HTTP Live Streaming (HLS). Safari on all Apple devices and MS Edge seem to be the only browsers that fully support it.

    I watched the event on Chrome. I had to install an extension though.

    Ok cool. So no native support...it makes you work a little for it, to see how much you really want it.
