I have waited all day for the Fall Creators Update to show up on my
computer's update list. It never happened. I'm still waiting.

When I ran the Update Troubleshooter it said that my computer has
"updates pending."

Asked me if I wanted to start doing their thing "in the background."
Whatever that means.

Anyway, I tried that option but nothing happened. No pop-up
messages. Nothing.

I tried a number of different options and I got responses ranging
from my computer doesn't have enough space
to FCU is being released gradually in one geographic location at
a time.

I contacted (count'em) three Microslow techs who all did something
different and in the end...nothing changed.

I even had one guy do a remote on my machine and all he said in
the end was "wait it isn't there yet but it will be."

Well it isn't.

How about some real help here?

And don't tell me about the Windows Insider Program. That has
absolutely no bearing on what is going on between Microslow and
my computer right now.

I would just really appreciate it if someone would honestly have
enough knowledge about this whole thing to help me get to the
bottom of this problem.

Relax, you do not want this update in it's current state. It is so unfinished and buggy that you are better off. After getting it I rolled back cause the bugs were too much.

Meh ... my HP Desktop (HP Envy ... model 810-150se) hasn't even received the first Creator's Update. I did get a notification that the Creator's Update will soon be coming ... so I clicked on the link and --- it took me to the Fall Creator's Update info page. So I'll just force myself to patiently wait on whatever comes lol

I do not have a solution or something but I will share my experience. I waited for 5 months before the creators update 1703 finally ruled up on XPS 15. Till then, I just made sure that all the updates are regularly installed. Microsoft does some sort of testing for some devices before updating them.
