It says my webcam is currently being used by another application, while it certainly is not.
The same app is even able to use both cams to send video messages. But not the front cam for video calling.
Anyone else has this problem? I am on a Lumia 950.

Yes, same here on 950XL. Not sure what caused this as before it was ok. Recently did hard reset but I think it's perhaps Skype update issue...

Have you tried a soft reset whilst in a video call?

It's counter intuitive but I've found the work arounds for Skype are pretty much always counter intuitive.

Should mention that both wife and i have this problem on our Lumia 950s ... VERY frustrating as a nearly daily Skype video call user.

In Skype settings I picked Front Camera and it works fine, but switching the cameras while in video call doesn’t work,... getting the same “in use” message.

Ah, my appologies to do a soft reset just hold down the power button and volume down key on any windows phone 8.x to WM10.x until it vibrates once.

This is very disappointing not being able to use Microsoft's own product on Microsoft's own device and operating system Its been months I am desperatly looking for a fix to make skype work with lumia 532. My phone is updated with latest windows 10 updates and latest version of skype but still not able to make video call.
