The OS was fantastic and very solid and great across devices, if you never had one you missed out on a great experience.
Yes the major Apps were missing but a lot of the 3rd party Apps worked better than the original Apps.
I love the tiles you could get info at just a glance like in Win 10 Pc's do that was a major plus with out going in the App to see what's going on or seeing the last set email that came in and see who it's from.
Plus new features came with the Major updates they release on Win 10, like the Spring creators update gave new features. It's really nice how they add or remove features with big updates, instead of building and releasing a new OS.

I still have and use my Alcatel Idol 4S running win 10M and love the experience over Android.
If MSFT get's back in the game down the road I'll Switch my Galaxy S8 in a heartbeat.

I'm currently using all MSFT on my S8 including the MSFT launcher which gives me a like Win 10m experience including the scrolling up and down to see all my Widgets instead of left to swipe over to get to more of my Widgets it's much easier up and down.
Win 10M is a lot easier to use and mimicked Win 10 Pc exactly the same, everything was in the same place on both.

My thoughts' are down the road they can reenter the consumer space with a Win 10 Phone and it will take off and work this time.
Android and IOS cant stay on top forever something has to change that and MSFT could be the answer with the right Device and sway the developer's to switch and develop for Win 10 on a phone type device.
