Cannot open the file after upgrading to Windows 10

Hello community.

After upgrading my laptop to Windows 10 i cannot open Microsoft Word (doc extension) file which is on my flash drive.
Getting the message: "Access denied".
anyone have had similar issue?*It is a very important file:unhappy:

Make sure you're using a local admin account. Can you copy the file to a folder on your C:\? If yes, then you should be able to open it. If no, then check the file permissions and try to take ownership of it: right click the file, go to Properties > Security > Advanced > The owner will be at the top > click Change.
