Music Identification Service through Cortana no longer works?!?!?!?

Ahhh, I went crazy the other day, and almost wanted to throw my Lumia 640 out the window when I tried to recog a song playing on the radio, and I now get this messsage that the "Service is no longer available"

Is this really true, can this really be happening??? Are there altenatives??

I suppose this might be due to Groove no longer having streaming, and they shutdown the music portion of the store....but I didn't think they would shut the service off as well??

Good lord I hope there's an alternative..Anybody?

Unfortunately, it is true.
You might try an app called Sound Hound, but I have no idea if it still works.

The Shazam app still works on my 950XL. I never used Cortana for identifying music.

Also if anyone has downloaded Shazam in the past, they can download it from My Library in the store menu.

Sound Hound does work but personally I found it to be hit and miss then again I hardly listen to mainstream music. Usually instrumentals and very obscure artists.
