What's up with Cortana on the 950XL?

Do you ever feel that AI is secretly following your every move, ready to take over at a moment's notice when the time arrives?

I'm beginning to wonder...

For the last 3-4 months, Cortana will come on without anyone ever saying the magical words, "Hey Cortana." I can be in the middle of a conversation, muttering to myself while working, singing, or even on the SAME PHONE, and Cortana will cheerily pop on, bringing up web searches for a word or two I mentioned, or asking me to repeat what I said.

This is freaky...

Any ideas?

Cortana on my 950XL only seems to respond to me if I am talking to her on my SP4, ignores me the rest of the time, I think she gets jealous......
