I restored settings = reinstalled windows on my mother's lumia 950. Prior to this I made sure to upload a fresh reserve copy of system settings to onedrive.
After reinstall and settings restore all looks almost ok. But all programs reinstalled clean, without restoring their data. These programs were on the SD drive. After reinstall they are on the internal memory and settings are that all programs to be installed there.
When I tried to change this setting, it said that "There are programs from another device on SD card. To use the sd card you have to delete them".
So my thoughts are that the programs' data is still there, on the SD card. Though I don't understand how to explain it to the OS. Any thoughts?
