Linked Phone in Windows PC - gone

I had my 950 linked to my Windows 10 PC and was getting SMS and other notifications. After the recent update, it got removed and I am not able to link it again. The only options I see are Android and iPhone.

We know we are getting betrayed one functionality after another, but why remove something that is working?

While I'm sure there are technical reasons as all phone notifications from my 950 XL stopped when my PC and laptop updated to 1903 and MS has been relatively forthcoming about what to expect as W10M circles the drain, there's a more simple explanation: MS wants W10M in the rearview mirror ASAP. If they could get their hands on a neuralyzer from Men in Black and wipe everyone's memory of it, they would do it in a heartbeat.
