Firstly, thank you for your answers to this question.
I noticed that my files turned in to 0kb long ago. I didn't care about it till someone mentioned it on some FB group recently. Then I began googling how to solve this. I was told to end the process in the task manager. I checked and some other stuffs. Now, I can't even find syswin.exe in the task manager now. But I do see it before but didn't know it was harmful. Could it be that it has left my computer?
I also tried running scans with malware detectors and antivirus but found nothing. The 0kb files are still on my computer but I can't find syswin.exe file. I was also told to check localdisk C:// >>BOOT but I didn't find BOOT folder in C:// even after telling windows to show hidden files.
What virus scanner would you recommend?
How can I know if syswin.exe is still on my computer?
How can I solve this?
How can I stop future occurrence?
I have important files that loosing would be a suicide mission. Please help.
My computer is HP ProBook 640, Intel Core i5, Windows 10, 4GB, 500GB
Thanks again.
