Facebook Slow On IE 10 and Windows 8

Has any one experienced very sluggish response from Facebook lately, especially when typing anything into it? Text will be slow to catch up and may never catch up and you have to go back to edit it. And mostly, it will stop responding for several seconds by saying it is has a long running script. This happens on my work PC, home PC and Surface. Anyone else having this issue?

Just tried it on my Surface and the typing response is fine, no errors. The news feed seems to be slow updating, but that's something different.

Hmmm...this is odd...with three devices doing this, wonder if it is my Microsoft Account profile...or conspiracy theory, Facebook attaching some kind of script to my account...I've not tried Chrome yet...will see what happens...
