Nook app vs Kindle app

I am thinking about buying some eBooks. I would like to have one specific app for it. I want to know the pros and cons of both and any features they have over the other to help weigh my decision in getting the best app for my windows 8 tablet. Also maybe there is another reader app that might be a better choice. Let me know what you think us personally the best eBook reader app.

I prefer the Nook app to the Kindle app. Other than that, I got nothin'. ��

I think it is probably going to come down to whomever you want to purchase your eBooks from.
I can tell you that several people on the Nook discussion boards have complained of side loading issues with eBooks purchased from non B&N sellers.
With the Kindle app, due to the proprietary format AMZ uses, you will be tied to AMZ. There are conversion programs out there, it just depends on how much trouble you want to go to read on your chosen app.
