I still like the 'desktop', and I like the way MS has made it more of it's own app. But after using a OS X it's a nice experience to use a second desktop for a separate topic or task.

This becomes even more important with devices with smaller screens (10 inch), where the desktop is rarely shut down and just in and out of sleep, so open windows or desktop applications are left open.

But how great would it be to be able to open another Desktop 'app'? Perhaps similar to the implementation of multiple Metro IE windows.

With this in mind, are there any good implementations of 3rd party multiple desktops that work well with Windows 8? Or will I need to pray that some at MS thinks of this too.

I don't think this will ever happen, but I hope, because the few times I have used Ubuntu I have loved that feature!
