Upgrading to 8.1 problem

I was downloading 8.1 from store but then windows updater downloaded few updates. Then in store 8.1 stopped downloading and asked to wait for windows update to finish and try later.
The system restarted and I dont know into where all that 3.6 GB vanished. Anybody help. I dont want to download the entire file again!

I had a problem similar to this. I downloaded the 8.1 update and it got to a certain point and it just refused to continue. The only way I could get it to do it again was to refresh the install (or do a system restore) so that the pc didn't think it had previously downloaded the update at which point it downloaded it again and installed it properly.
