Why does Remote Desktop Crash on exit?

I have been using Remote Desktop on windows 8.1 to connect to Windows server 2012. Every time I disconnect the session (any disconnect) Remote desktop crashes.

I have read some threads stating it may be some of the settings, (Audio, Printers, ect.) and tried each solution with no resolution.
