How do I put the icons that are circled in red back into their tray? I accidentally moved one out of the tray and onto the App's Bar. When I did that, all of the other icons followed it. Now, I can't figure out how to put them back into the tray.

This is the tray I'm talking about:

be aware that this forum is for Windows Phone 8.1.
as to your question .
1. right click on an empty space on the task bar.
2. click personalize on the drop down menu that appears.
3. click on customize.
4. click on the icon drop down menu(s) of the app(s) you want to hide
5. click hide icon and notifications.
that should solve the issue

Hi,

It seems that you've checked the options 'Always Show All Icons' under properties.

To get rid of this, please follow the following steps:-
- Right click on empty space on task bar
- Select properties
- Select Customize under "notification area section' of first tab
- Uncheck 'Always show all icons' check box and customize the notification area as required and select apply/ok.

Please let me know if this doesn't resolve your issue.
