Onenote question

So the recent thread on OneNote made me realize that maybe I should try playing around/using this program more. I use it on my phone, but not on my computer. So I decided to run the program on the PC, and one of the first things it asked me was to sign in with my Windows Live ID (which makes sense if they sync.). But when I tried signing in with my user ID and password (which I assume would be the same thing used to set up my phone, and log into my live.com email account, etc.) it will not go through (user ID or password is incorrect). Any ideas why this isn't working? (I can go input my password on live.com with no problem).

I'm running Windows 7, OneNote 2010, WP8
And I have the 2 step verification on with live.com

It's the 2 step verification system that's stopping you. Go into outlook.com

Your account settings
Security
App password or something

It'll generate a random code. Use that as a password to login.
