Xbox music on 8.1 help

I need help, I have been playing with the xbox music app on Windows 8.1. Now when I try and tell it where to look for music at, it shows nothing in "This PC" category and nothing in "Homegroup" category. I've uninstalled the app many times, and I have restarted my computer. This is not have anything to do with the pass, I want the get my iTunes copied over to the app before I deal with my downloads on Xbox Music on my phone, but if anyone has advice on this also I need help. I want the same library (iTunes and Xbox Music downloads from phone) on both the WIndows 8 app and my Nokia 822

Wait, do you use the windows phone app from the store or the desktop app? Because the desktop app is way more fully featured.

The desktop app only allows the use of iTunes, not the music from Xbox music I have downloaded

Same problem here. I tried removing and re-adding the location but it doesn't seem to refresh. Any ideas?
