Internet Explorer: What tips and tricks do you have to tell?

I thought it would be great for new members or users who use Internet Explorer that want to take full advantage of there browser to have a thread which will have tips and tricks.

So what tips and tricks have you picked up or learnt with Internet Explorer?

Here's a good tip. This is good after you close all your tabs for the day, and bring up IE another time. Go to Tools/Open last browsing session. All your previous tabs will open up!

I found out the InPrivate tab mode. Swipe up from the bottom or click the bottom in modern ie, and click the 3 dots, and click for the inprivate tab.

Well I think this post that BP made was intended mostly for the PC IE, but thanks for expanding it to mobile IE!

On WP8 IE, I have a favorite labeled "-jump to top" and the address is "javascript:scroll(0,0)". This lets you jump to the top of whatever page you are on at once (the hyphen keeps it at the top of the list).

In Windows 8, install ad block. Install privacy lists. Using Windows RT then install privacy lists. :grin:

adblock for IE is free and great too....but it takes huge amount of RAM so I don't use it...
