I need some help / advice

Hi,

I have a Nokia 1020 running 8.0. I have an AsusT100TA tablet/notebook running 8.1. I have about 423 songs on my One Drive account. I have several playlists,

My problem is updating or changing the existing playlists on the phone to include some new songs, I have been trying to use the Windows Phone app with no luck. How on earth do I access these playlists?

there is a really old fashioned way I use in your case which includes you connecting your 1020 as a mass storage and not a phone. the next step you'll do is get whatever playlist you want from your pc/desktop and copy it. paste in the playlist folder in the music folder which will be visible when you open your phone as a mass storage
