Office 365 activation: I cannot continue further from the preferences page

I recently bought a new Lumia 640 XL and got a 1 year Office 365 subscription with it. I claimed the code using the Office 365 gift app. I logged into my Microsoft account, entered the code on the respective website (*can't post link as I'm a newbie here*) and clicked Get Started. On the next page, I selected region as India. However the language drop down list is 'greyed out'. Also, if I click Continue, nothing happens. I am unable to activate my subscription. Did I miss something? What is the solution?

Try using ie or edge browser, it worked for me.

Disable any ad or pop up blockers momentarily if you have them enabled.
