Constant crashes on PC

I usually use other media players for music on my computer, but was trying to download a recent purchased from the Windows Store recently when I noticed this issue. The Groove app on my computer was crashing as soon as it was opened.

I found instructions online to use PowerShell to uninstall the app. I did so, then reinstalled it from the Windows Store. Now, I can open the app, but the app doesn't seem to have any content - neither from the promos showing current popular music nor in showing my music library stored locally on my computer.

Even though the app doesn't crash immediately upon opening it, it does crash if I click on the settings button or if I use the Artist, Album, etc., buttons to navigate the app.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this or know a fix? This may be a moot point since I will soon be replacing my hard drive and doing a clean install of Windows 10, but I'm worried this issue might possibly return.
