Can't sync my outlook account with people app

I have lumia 640xl and I have updated it to windows 10.After the update I am unable to sync my outlook account with the people app and had lost all the contacts.Also the display pictures of some contacts are jumbled.

Make sure you have selected to display your Outlook contacts in the People app. Verify by going to People app > Settings under See more (ellipsis) menu > Filter contact list.
