I am in the throes of installing Visual Studio on my Mac. The install app timed out, but it would appear that they allow for this, to then instruct and allow, Mono Framework, Android SDK et all, to be installed individually (I suspect this is what the original was doing... But... I am great fan of "Homebrew" for installs. And I noticed that the Mono-framework consists of a lot of programs separately installed (via Homebrew) - So the logical question is - can I use homebrew. to install all of VS? for consistency with the rest of my tools).
I did notice that the version number on the older install kits. (The VS kit appears to V 4.8.0 , yet the primary kit appears to be 4.6.1.5 which doesn't make sense.
