So - have been doing some research, but could use some help from the community.

Any tips/tricks in picking a solid VPN? Are there certain criteria or concerns you make sure your VPN covers off before you subscribe? I'm a newb - so any info you have is appreciated!!

FWIIW, I picked VPN Unlimited, principally because it works on Windows Phones (and all other platforms, because I have an Android too, and beyond that who knows which device I'll have in a year or two).

There are certain factors that you have to consider. Things like:
    1- what protocols they support
2- how many servers do they have
    3- where are those servers
    4- Do they restrict servers
5- What payment method do they offer
6- Do they have kill switch system

Based on these things I have selected my provider, I am using PureVpn for almost 1 year.
    Hope this answer your query.
