'Home' Button

Hey everyone.
I really like my Omnia7 but I've registered strange a behaviour: Sometimes (I can't tell when, I can't tell what I did right before that) I can't wake my phone up with the home button. I have to use the power button instead. Sometimes this happens for a couple of hours. Sometimes just once. sometimes it doesn't happen at all for about a week.

Someone else noticed this? Is it a hardware problem? Beccause the home button works just fine when the phone is 'awake'.

Same here buddy, think it's just a glitch, not a major issue but a bit of a bugger!

Hmmm interesting, can't say i ever remember this happening to me. (Scratches Head) no don't think so.

This is because your hand somehow covered the proximity sensor to the right of the front speaker. It is designed that you can't wake your phone with home button when proximity sensor is covered in order to avoid misoperation. However you can always use the power button to wake the phone.
