Is my camera faulty?

I see this on most pictures. That blob of red/pink, right in the center. I also see it in videos, but it goes away with the Flash on. I tried different white balances, but the colors stay there, but change shades.

hmm, nevermind. I get the same effect, although to a lesser degree, on my Playbook too. Weird.
