So I'm at this house party on New Years Eve. We were all sitting around the table eating when the conversation turned to mobile phones. Of the twelve of us there 10 people had iPhones, I had my Lumia 800 and one girl was undecided on her first smartphone purchase.
Immediately the iArmy started enthusing about their phones as they do, brandishing Siri as though it was presented by god to Moses from a burning bush and so on. She spied my 800, whipped it out and played with it a little (snigger....) and was suitably impressed - as were a few of the others there.
I learned a week later that not only had she purchased an 800 and was loving it but two of my mates who were gonna upgrade from an iPhone 4 to a 4s also switch over to the Nokia.
Moral of the story? New Years Eve house parties with my mates are boring.
