Lumia 800 UK Unlocked - No Tethering?

I got an update this morning, yet I see no tethering option under settings.

I have an unlocked/sim-free nokia lumia 800 and am on Vodafone (although I doubt this makes much difference).

Should I be expecting this update in addition to the one I have got today?

Any way of checking when this will be? I could really do with tethering!

I've got an unlocked Nokia Lumia 800 on giffgaff and the newest update enabled tethering for me. It's listed as 'Internet Sharing' in Settings.

OS Version 7.10.8773.98
Firmvare Rev No 1750.0805.8773.12220

Ah, my firmware revision number is 1600.2479.7740.11451

I guess this means I've got to wait for Nokia a bit longer? I found it odd that I got an update, but not all of them.

Any ideas of how to nudge it into updating?

I'm in the same position, got a sim-free lumia 800 with a three uk sim card, and only received the tango update but am stuck on 1600.2479.7740.11451 f/w!

I got the tethering options with my unlocked Lumia 800.

I don't know if thats the same with the Zune software on your PCs, but on my Mac with the Windows Phone Connector application I had to upgrade the software multiple times until I arrived at the newest one.
What I mean is that instead of updating just once to get the newest OS update, I had to update OS, update OS, update OS, and finally update OS until I was able to see the tethering option.

Thanks. I think there might be a problem with my phone or something - there has still yet to be any update or notification.

Sadly there's no way to contact Nokia directly about this stuff.

Did it finish and then have you start again?

I think I may have to try a complete wipe and start again!
