No CDMA carriers lock their devices and won't let you activate another carriers device.

With 5GB of data, unlimited talk and text, I contacted https://www.pagepluscellular.com/. They claim to be able to port some phones to their network, and they are one of the few that runs on Verizon's network. They replied and told me that they couldn't say whether they'd be able to port over the 822 or not. :straight:

Global, yes. That means it has GSM radios. Unlock it? It comes that way, with the GSM radio at least, and you can plug any SIM into it, but I don't know if that means the CDMA radio is unlocked, too. Since PagePlus is a CDMA carrier, it would need the CDMA radio to be unlocked, and I don't know if that is the case or not.
