Video output

Ok so I've really liked my 822 since I got it almost 6 months ago, but something I just realized is that there is no video output capability with wp8. Is this right? I really find it hard to believe that the newest version of windows phone can't do video out via hardwired USB. How is it possible that both my 2nd Gen Zune and Zune HD have this ability but not WP8?

Agree. However, Nokia Play to is available to stream videos via DLNA but that requires us to have a DLNA TV or other device.
